Tun Samy Vellu

He was the Malaysian Indian Leader who eventually upon his retirement conferred the title, Tun. I had the privilege to meet him once, after his retirement. A friendly and soft spoken person, very much contrasting the Samy you see one TV when he was in active politics.

Why I decided to blog about him was because I was explaining the concept of destiny to some folks at the eatery shop. My point is why some people are very successful in life, is not only because of hard work or good networking skills but behind all these virtues lies the hidden energy call destiny.

The best tool to read or understand one’s destiny is to learn BaZi. This is the best choice compared to paying just for a reading. Understanding is way more profound and knowing.

Tun Samy Vellu started his young days as a draftsman. This was told to me by my colleagues father who happened to work in the same office as Samy. Later by some luck, he landed a lucrative business from Australia and from there his life totally changed.

It was no ordinary luck, it was written in his life. Let’s take a look at his Bazi.

born on 8 March 1936 in Kluang as Samy Vellu s/o Sangalimuthu. He is the 2nd longest serving minister of Tamil descent. I can say his career has been very successful in many ways. (Note: hour is guessed for the sake of the software requirement)

Major Luck Cycle In BaZi Astrology

All of us has a major luck cycle and this Samy’s Luck Cycle chart. In Chinese it is called Da Yun 大运 or Big Luck.

Let me quote a paragraph from Wikipedia, “Samy Vellu’s political career began at the age of 23, in 1959, when he and Govindaraj joined the Batu Caves MIC branch. After five years, he was elected Selangor MIC committee member and the head of the party. He made headline news by climbing up the Indonesian embassy’s flag pole, pulling down the flag and burning it. He was charged in court and fined RM2. He was called Hero Malaysia on the front pages.”

He was elected Selangor MIC head of party in the Batu Caves MIC branch at the age of 28. Let’s look at this in his Luck cycle.

If you look at his luck table above, at the age of 28 he entered the luck of Jia Wu 甲午. Jia 甲 is the authority luck （10 Gods 十神) of Ji 己 earth day master and so happened is also the favorable element in Nature’s Way BaZi. This is the hidden reason why he rose to power. If you ask him back, I am sure it was a spur of moment that the climbed that pole. That spur is motivated by this hidden energy.

One of BaZi key strength is in timing and from my experience in consulting work, still the undefeated champion because my client comes from all walks of life and had gone and seek many other forms of astrology.

Strong Or Weak Day Master

Most schools of Bazi teaches the concept of Strong or Weak Day master and this is mind boggling to many students to the point of paralyzing them in reading Bazi.

If you define him as Weak Day master since he is born in Mao 卯 month, then how come Jia 甲 is favourable to him ?

If you define him as Strong Day Master, then it defies the theory that says his is born out of season, which means what you have learned is not applicable.

Either way, the student will be paralyzed when it comes to BaZi reading. This will not happen in Nature’s Way system.

Luck and Destined

BaZi is so important for a person’s success in life because Samy does not know Feng Shui nor Qimen and that was back in 1964 when the likes of Lilian Too, Joseph Yu, Raymond Lo, Joey Yap etc. did not even existed!

On the same token, famous people are born with good BaZi, not because they have good knowledge in Feng Shui. Feng Shui only assisted the rise or fall but you have to have it in your destiny to begin with! If you open your eyes wide, why did so many people after learning this and that, did not went from the street to the suite? Haha…congratulations！now comes your enlightenment.
