A Life Detour

A very short post here to relate a real story of 2 clients whom had earlier gotten bazi reading from other masters. Later this two clients came for a BaZi consultation session with us.

Case 1

Claire (not her real name) was told she had bad career and money wont come easily. When Claire met me, I told her the exact opposite and that her 10 year money luck is expiring soon. Upon hearing this she related the story of the first master to me. I told her you just need to answer me and yourself if you did well the last 10 years? She said yes because she did made a lot of money luck. Now she has re-energized herself to better make use of the last few years of money luck.

She was puzzled and ask me how come same art of Bazi but 2 extreme interpretation. Finally she became my student to better understand her destiny.

Motivation or Destiny

There has been a hot debate and apparently two struggles in the current BaZi market and that is between the traditionalist and contemporary practitioners. Of course over the years of effort, I am happy to note that the Traditional school has once been given more attention.

I attribute this to a few reasons. Many of my clients actually became my students over time. I think this is one of the strongest testimony of the ability of the Traditional school in particular this Nature’s Way of BaZi, how it has helped them over the years. They usually consult me more than one chart so it is not a fluke shot thing but rather there is repeatability of the result.

This is what the old saying of Actions speaks louder than Words! Need no marketing, they join the classes because they have seen it with their eyes. Same goes for our Feng Shui classes.

A Hope

Second reason, I believed is because the contemporary school leans too much into motivation. It is good to give people hope and I support that but what people need is more than just hope. They need the truth!

Sometimes contemporary falsely blinded themselves. This is the joke of the modern Bazi. Some masters have good Bazi but because he/she is not well versed in traditional Bazi, this made them believed they have bad Bazi but somehow in reality, they are successful. How do even you reconcile this? Motivation or learned new skills!

Thus out of this they conclude that traditional way of Bazi reading is out, with proper motivation and learned skills anyone can succeed big time. If you are reading this and you have joined some of these BaZi schools, ask yourself honestly, how many of those around you or perhaps yourself have changed tremendously over the years?

If what they think is correct, then why do I want to learn BaZi? Just hire a business or success coach and make me successful. Why spend time and money into BaZi then in the end I would still have to motivate myself and acquire some new skills in HOPE of being successful?

Wealth & Career

I am often being asked on the topic of Wealth and Career. Are they the same subject?

From my years doing consulting, I can say no although to most people they are closely linked. Let’s define what is meant by Career in Bazi.

Career

Career is basically our work or what we do for a living. We may be a businessman, a CEO, a manager, doctor, engineer, lawyer, politician, police officer, banker, scammer, pimp, dancer, singer, teacher and so on. Thus in Bazi this can be anything ranging from Parallel 比劫, Output 食傷, Wealth 财, Officer 官 or Stamp 印.

From this earnings we create our wealth correct? Yes this sounds very logical.

Wealth

On the other hand, wealth is usually tied to money, gold, shares ownership or assets. It also mean the ability to accumulate wealth or retain wealth. In Bazi, technically it is known as Cai God or Wealth God. Yes literally wealth god 财神.

The wealth can be further defined as Zheng Cai 正财or Proper Wealth and Pian Cai 偏财 or Alternative Wealth. It basically tells us the way we gather wealth. However the definition is very wide and not limited to legal or illegal money or earnings.

In the old days, things were simple and easy to define. Nowadays due to stress and lifestyle desires some people take up 2 jobs or perhaps a job with one side gig like share investing, bitcoin, a part time professional gambler, gym instructor, painter etc.

I remember a client who eventually became my student, once showed me the Bazi and ask me or rather you can say test me, how do you see my wealth?

Useful God Technique

As you know, Traditional BaZi school emphasize Useful God Method. This useful god is not some god that we pray to, it is just an expression of good or auspicious energy.

The new age Bazi or the Contemporary Bazi is much simpler and it is aligned to modern motivation system that string on human common logic. However, logic it is, life is sometimes beyond common logic especially when it comes to the subject of LIFE.

A common tool in contemporary system is profiling. Very much like how a psychological study of human behaviour.

Some students are still confused difference between Traditional Bazi over Contemporary Bazi. Originally there was only 1 but due to marketing and dilution of the knowledge a newer version was born. Let me illustrate based on a real case.

Once a person came to me to learn another subject on Chinese metaphysics but as we spoke it somehow got related to the subject of Bazi. Since this person had learned contemporary Bazi online but still could not understand own Bazi and the destiny, the sense of frustration naturally sets in. After class, I told this person to show me the Bazi so I may guide or give some tips since this person is also my student (not on Bazi subject) and to the benefit of my 2 other Bazi students.

You Still Can’t Read BaZi?

Once a student shared with me an confession of a forumer who had a sad story behind and being a teacher and consultant in Chinese Metaphysics, I can really feel her frustrations. Perhaps this feeling is all too familiar to you as well.

Hello everyone! I have had four different people, with different BaZi training look at my chart; and I have received very different advice based on each reading. One advisor put my DM as Ren (which would match the following day’s DM, likely because I was born between the 23:00-1:00 window). One put my time of birth at 22:35 because of daylight savings. One said I was a weak DM; and one said I was strong. As such, I’ve been advised to work in a team by one, and independently by another. I’ve gotten literally opposite advice on almost all counts.

All too common, when you are lost and starting to ask around, hoping to have a clearer picture of whats going on all you get is all different answers? In this modern world of commercialization, Bazi courses is dished out by influential schools leading to this predicament because of the lack of personalized training. How To Read Bazi In 5 Seconds – Part 2

Coming back to this topic of quick Bazi reading in 5 seconds, lets continue to our traditionalist point of view in BaZi as an astrology tool. A tool used for centuries to guide human race to a better outcome. You may want to read Part 1 first if you have not.

The first quick reading is for Property one needs Earth element dominant in the chart. We attach here 2 charts belonging to property tycoon as well owners of conglomerates. Conglomerates means that they have multiple business sectors and not limited to property.

Both charts have earth but not a lot. Thus it raises the questions that if earth is the sole indicator of being a property investor or developer, then I think easily 80% of the world population could be in this field and yet there are only so little.

To be successful on stage it seems that the primary choice is to look for the “Hurt Officer God” in the chart or in short HO. For a Wu 戊 Earth person, the HO would be Xin 辛 Metal. Here is a chart of world renowned motivation guru who has written many books and constantly on stage. Why did make his success in motivation and education instead of property since he has much Earth element.

Unfortunately this chart has none as far as 3 pillars is concern and more so in the Month pillar.
