A Life Detour

A very short post here to relate a real story of 2 clients whom had earlier gotten bazi reading from other masters. Later this two clients came for a BaZi consultation session with us.

Case 1

Claire (not her real name) was told she had bad career and money wont come easily. When Claire met me, I told her the exact opposite and that her 10 year money luck is expiring soon. Upon hearing this she related the story of the first master to me. I told her you just need to answer me and yourself if you did well the last 10 years? She said yes because she did made a lot of money luck. Now she has re-energized herself to better make use of the last few years of money luck.

She was puzzled and ask me how come same art of Bazi but 2 extreme interpretation. Finally she became my student to better understand her destiny.

Talent Meeting Timing

Winnie Hsin 辛曉琪 is a Taiwanese singer who shot into fame at a much late age for a singer. She became famous because of one song 味道 (Scent) in 1994. Ever since then her singing career life was transformed.

She is well known for her clear and high pitch voice. If you listen to her song below you will agree that she has pretty good voice. To be a famous singer you ought to have a talent and it may it be a good voice, dancing skill and couple with a good look. Otherwise it will be just another William Hung.

So was Destiny made at birth or learned along the years? Then you have to think about voice & looks, are these qualities in born thing or can be made?. This is where I disagree with Contemporary Bazi school that destiny can be made by simply taking actions and being positive. I am not saying they don’t matter but rather over rated like a miracle pill. An unrealistic hope is like a dead end tunnel.

In 1994 she was already 31 when she got her fame. For most singers in Taiwan back then it is considered a late boomer in the industry. How come a person with a considerable good voice did not make it earlier if just by working hard and being positive could have not done the job? Lingering behind is the work of Destiny or rather in her case the Major Luck cycle.

Below is her BaZi Chart and Major Luck Cycles.

Wealth Luck – Do You Have What It Takes To Be Rich?

In Bazi (Chinese Astrology or Metaphysics), whether a person is born rich or poor or is self-made millionaire can be revealed in your personal destiny chart.  Your destiny chart is derived from your birthdate and time.  If you are not born rich but has the potential to become rich, your bazi chart can identify the timing, which is found in your 10-year luck pillar.  Wealth and success can come in many ways, such as, through career, own business, marriage, born rich, inheritance, and so on.

So, do you have what it takes to be wealthy?  By looking at your Bazi destiny chart, a Bazi consultant can decipher whether you have the ability to amass wealth.  In Bazi, the Hour pillar represents one’s career.  So, if your bazi chart has “Useful God” or “Noble Element” in the hour pillar, the chances of good career luck in life is there.  How the elements of Wealth, Output and Power in the chart interact with each other also plays a major determination for wealth analysis.

Sometimes, a chart shows that the person is born rich but does not have the capacity to maintain his wealth.  In this type of chart, the person may have favourable good quality “wealth” stars but do not have the “output” stars to support it.  In the study of Bazi, Output element produces Wealth element.  Hence, if a person do not have the Output star, he may not be able to hang on to his wealth.  As a matter of fact, Output star is more important than Wealth star, since Output star is the one that keeps continuously generate wealth for the Day Master.  Another possibility that the person cannot hang on to his wealth is due to presence of Rob Wealth stars.  This will result in the person spending more than he earned.

Some destiny charts do not have Wealth stars but have good quality Output and Power stars, and they are very successful persons.  If the Power or Influence stars are favourable to the Day Masters, they have the potential to hold high positions or status in their organizations; and have excellent career prospect.

So, how about running one’s own business, you may ask.  Some experts will say to look for Indirect Wealth star in the chart, as Indirect Wealth star relates to entrepreneurship and taking risks.  However, having Indirect Wealth star alone in your chart does not guarantee that you will succeed in business.  You will also need other stars like Direct Wealth (as this star relates to hard work), Output star such as “Eating God” (for creativity and long-term outlook) and a bit of Direct Resource star (because without sufficient Resources, it is not possible for any good luck to come into our lives).

I’m sure you all will agree with me that in order to be successful in one’s own business, you need to work very hard and be prudent, must be creative and innovative for business to take off and survive, and not forgetting a lit bit of luck on our side.

So, now that you know, do you have what it takes to be wealthy?  What does your Bazi destiny chart say about you?

In Bazi, which Day Master are you?

What is a Day Master?

Day Master is basically YOU!  Your personality, characteristics, traits and attributes.

Where is it located in a Bazi chart?

It’s found in the Day Stem.  The rest of the stems and branches in the Bazi chart represent their influences to your life and pathways.

How do you know which Day Master are you?

Please click at the Bazi calculator of Destiny Empire to key in your date and time of birth, and from there you will find your Bazi chart and your Day Master.

Having done that, you now know which Day Master you belong to.  There are basically 10 Day Masters as follows:-

  1. Tree (Jia-Yang Wood)
  2. Flower (Yi-Yin Wood)
  3. Sun (Bing-Yang Fire)
  4. Candle Flame (Ding-Yin Fire)
  5. Mountain (Wu-Yang Earth)
  6. Soil/Moist Earth (Ji-Yin Earth)
  7. Iron (Geng-Yang Metal)
  8. Gold (Xin-Yin Metal)
  9. Sea Water (Ren-Yang Water)
  10. Rain (Gui-Yin Water)

Let’s start with Jia Day Master (Tree)

If you are a Jia Day Master, you have qualities of a Tree.  Imagine what a Big Tall Tree looks like.  Its trunk, branches and leaves will extend themselves to reach out to sunlight for growth while its roots will stay firmly in the ground.  In this way, Jia Day Masters characteristics are such that they will exert themselves to plan and develop in order to move upward from their current situation.

They are steady, strong and upright and have strong will-powered, and will not be easily swayed.  They are very direct and out-spoken people and will say whats on their mind, not knowing they may hurt people by their directness and bluntness.  They may appeared as unfeeling, not because they are heartless but because they do not tune to what is going around them.

However, from the shades of the trees, you will notice that they provide shades  and shelter to people.  In this way, Jia people are able to sympathise and empathize with others, and will not turn away when someone is in need of help.  They are also very honest and straight forward.

Since their roots are always firmly rooted in the ground, Jia people are reluctant to changes, and if changing circumstances are forced upon them, it will be slow and gradual.  Contrary to this, due to the Tree’s growth nature, they are always slowly changing, however, not easily seen.  They can also be stubborn and not as quick-witted as other day masters.

Tree (Jia) characteristics will be different depending on which season or month you were born.  There will be different types of Jia Wood from various parts of the world, as conditions and climate will affect the Trees and Woods.

Trees born in Winter are frozen Tree, whereas born in Summer are burnt Tree.  Are you a Jia Wood born in Winter, or Summer, or Autumn, or Spring?

Which Jia Wood are You?

WHAT IS BAZI?

WHAT IS BAZI (八字)?

Bazi or Phat Chee is the Chinese ancient way of destiny analysis.   The history of Bazi began some 5000 years ago during the Chinese Wu Kingdom.  The term Bazi is the Chinese term for “Eight Characters” or what many people term as four pillars.  Each pillar has two chinese characters, making it “Eight Characters”.

To analyse a person’s life destiny, we need to derive a person’s Bazi chart and his 10 year luck cycle.  These can be derived from his date of birth and hour of birth.  Once this is done, the most important and most difficult task is interpreting the Bazi chart accurately.

BAZI AND THE LAW OF NATURE

Classical Bazi was founded 5000 years ago.  During that time, there was no technology.  Nature rules the Earth. Life revolved around nature which was the call of the day.  What do we mean by nature?  Nature is about seasonal changes, taping natural resources for mankind benefits, and how each element (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water) of nature influences the other elements of nature.

For instance, we know that the Sun (Fire) can warm the sea (Water) and provide food for the plants (Wood).  Water is needed to grow the environment with the help of the Sun (Fire).  Without the Sun, cold Water cannot grow the environment.  Aggressive Water also washes away Plants (Wood) and uproots Trees (Wood).  Metal can cut down Trees (Wood) and be used as timber to build houses and make Fire to produce heat.  The Earth can prevent flood, and good Earth is needed for sowing and reaping.  Rain (Water) is needed to moisture the Soil (Earth).  Metal or gold found in the Earth can be used as an exchange of food, etc.  These outcomes are the inter-relationship of the 5 elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water) based on the principle of I-Ching (The Principle of Change), the Yin and Yang.

Classical Bazi is about understanding how SEASONS affect nature and the influence of each element of nature and its outcome.  It is about how we can make the best of NATURE!

WHAT IS IN A BAZI?

Bazi is a composition of “Heaven, Earth and Man”.  It simply means that when we are born, we are destined to have a set of “eight characters” or 4 sets of character based on the year, month, day and time of birth.  The complete 4 sets look like this:-

It is also commonly known as the Four Pillars, as each Pillar consists of two characters.  The top characters are the Heavenly Stem and the bottom characters are known as Earthly Branch.  The Hidden Stems are part of the Earthly Branch and does not form one of the characters in the Bazi.

The Year we are born gave us a set of “Heavenly Stem-Earthly Branch” character.  Our birth Month gave us another set, and so did the Day date and the Hour time.  So all together, the four sets of pillars form the complete Bazi Chart.

THE CONCEPT OF YIN AND YANG – THE BIRTH OF “CHANGE”

The term Yin and Yang was derived over 7000 years ago when life was dominated by simple pursuits of survival and overcoming nature.  Yin and Yang are opposites, yet they complete each other to form a “whole”.

Yang represents the day, brightness & warmth.  Yin represents night, darkness & cold.  When Yin grows and strengthens, Yang will decline and weaken, and vice versa.  Within Yin, there is Yang, and within Yang, there is Yin inside it.  When we talk about balance in life, we are talking about Yin and Yang.

Yang represens Male and strength while Yin represents female and gentleness.  The matrimonial union of Yin and Yang gives rise to a family union and birth of children.

Both Yin and Yang are essential to maintain a balance and completeness.  Though opposites, Yin and Yang are interdependent to complete each other.  Cold weather (autumn and winter) will be followed by warmth (spring and summer), and the cycle continues.

Yin represents the Earth and Yang represent the Heaven (Time).  Earth is still, and earth rotation is derived by the influence of Yang which is already contained within the earth.  In science, they call it gravity or the influence of magnetic field.  In Chinese Metaphysics, it is known as Heaven, Earth and Man.

In Bazi Destiny reading, Heaven represents our social outcome and events.  Earth represents our feelings.  Man represents our hidden secrets.  These three domains are interactive and have an impact of the outcome.  The outcome can be peaceful or disastrous.  However, if we can truly understand it, we can be the master of our domain.

All things start in this Trinity (Heaven, Earth and Man).  Heaven, Earth and Man interact to generate a specific environment and outcome.  And Bazi is a composition of “Heaven, Earth and Man”.

THE INGREDIENTS OF HEAVEN, EARTH AND MAN

Our destiny as well as all outcomes and events are influenced by the intereactions of Heaven, Earth and Man.  In other words, your Bazi chart tells you about the social outcomes and behaviours obvious to others (Heaven), your feelings and what you are deep inside (Earth), and your hidden potentials or disasters (Man).  This trinity plays an important role in determining:-

1)  Who we are:  our talents, characters, strengths and weaknesses.

2)  How we relate to others:  our relationship with our spouse, family, bossess, colleagues, etc.

3)  What opportunities are presented to us:  the comfort we have at birth, family background, siblings, supporters, cycle of luck, etc.

4)  Our life’s events and outcomes:  marriages, career, health, etc.

5)  How our children will be:  closeness with our children, are they difficult to bring up, whether they will have a significant standing in society.

So all of us have our individual “Heaven, Earth and Man” determined at the time of our birth.  Depending on your character, there is still a scope that can influence the outcome of your life.  At the end of the day, within what is “given” to you at birth, you can still IMPROVE your life if you know yourself well.  By understanding oneself, and identifying his strengths and weaknesses, a person is able to strategize and plan for his or her future.
