In cantonese we have a phrase call 抛書包 (paau syu baau) which means throwing in the school bag. The meaning behind is people with lots of theory behind but never knew how to apply them. They can tell you many things about this and that but themselves never done it before nor applied it with results.
In the world of Bazi, there are many classics and most students or even some practitioners are very good at these classics and able to qoute from the classics.
The irony is when they are given a Bazi, most of the time they miss the mark! Either by a mile or the smarter ones will throw in all the theories from this classics or that classics but will never draw a conclusion because he will leave it for you to do it yourself since he could not do it himself.
Then you can watch this youtube, that Facebook live program and yet despite all those theories from the various teachers, sadly still not able to read Bazi well.
This makes Bazi a very challenging subject to learn not to mention about mastering it!
Why?
Then there are those who have attended many schools of Bazi because in their opinion the more knowledge they have from various teachers, they should be invincible because they have the best of all worlds. the more seriously frustrated ones are those who have done this for 20 years!. Still most of this type also do not make it in Bazi mastery.
Why?

The honest answer is that Bazi is a SYSTEM by itself and you cannot learn bazi from picking bits of information from here and there. It is a complete set of System thus you need to learn one correct system and master that system, then you are on track to properly learn Bazi.
A system here means a proven one of course. Not all Bazi theories out there can be used and not all classics were correctly interpreted to be honest by various practitioners.
We have many students from other programs that faces the same problem. Despite graduating from the famous schools, given 1-1 coaching by their consultants or coaches, still cannot read Bazi. They are always asking;
Why?
First Type
Don’t be too impressed with Bazi reading when every life story and problem has been given by asker. This is not a skill of Bazi reading but turned into a counseling session which by the way no need the use of Bazi chart. I noticed many master likes to 马后炮 or to draw a conclusion AFTER the event has happened. Sometimes it goes so absurb that the forest fire has got to do with the Bazi of the Brazil president having too much fire. This is really an Oh My God case.
Second Type
There are a few typicial people but one fella is really a classic. When he tried to answer Bazi questions in Forum A he will usually gets it wrong in the region of 8/10 questions. When he goes to Forum B, he will introduce classics and trying to explain it like a Bazi expert probably trying to hook some students or perhaps some Bazi consults.
Friend, the proof of the pudding is in the eating!
Third Type
This one is a legend. He was trying to organise a Bazi class and was boasting all over live program how extensive knowledge he has on this subject. Suddenly a student posted a Bazi and asked him for some opinion, he started to startle and said he requires 3-4 days in advance to prepare as there are so many classics in Bazi and he cannot recall all the theories off hand.
Come on, if you are a true practicing Bazi master surely you can give at least one point! Why Not ?
Fourth Type
This lady learned from a famous school and then after a career hiccup, started her own Bazi consulting company. Yes, she is a Bazi consultant. She has some fair amount of Bazi videos too on youtube. Unfortunately, I was told that she is now in financial problem due to falling into a scam program. If one understands own luck, why fall into the scam?
Fifth Type
Here is an example of a guy who went for a consult with a famous school and the lady consultant told him this 10 Year Major Luck is going to be bad but I said no, its Good! Who is correct? Wanna Guess what did he achieve during these 10 years?
Do you know the impact on this person if he gets the Wrong or Correct answer about his Bazi Luck? Sometimes they charge so high, almost 3x my price yet ….
Some Sharing
Some may even ask me, which is very often, aren’t Bazi knowledge all the same? – Naive thought. You and your siblings also not of the same character though you both came from the parents. True?
All these five types have one thing in common, they all tossed their school bags.
Here is my sincere advice to you Bazi enthusiast out there, if you cannot do benefit for yourself, at least don’t screw yourself up with half past six knowledge.
There are a lot of Keyboard Warriors out there, do your due diligence if you want to come out with benefit.
