Why do so many people study metaphysics, especially BaZi, for years and still never reach a respectable level of mastery?
Simple.
They don’t understand what they’re looking at.
They memorize charts, formulas, theories, and fancy terminology, but they never truly understand the principles behind them. They don’t understand how metaphysics manifests in real life, so they end up treating BaZi and Feng Shui like a recipe book without knowing how to cook.
And then what happens?
They keep searching.
Another course. Another master. Another secret formula. Another shortcut.
The cycle never ends.
Here’s the uncomfortable truth.
Some people are born with exceptionally good BaZi charts. Life opens doors for them. Opportunities appear. Problems somehow solve themselves.
Sounds fantastic, doesn’t it?
Not necessarily.
Because these people often struggle to understand BaZi and Feng Shui at a deeper level. They only know what life looks like from the mountaintop.
Try explaining hunger to the daughter of a billionaire who has never missed a meal in her life. She can sympathize, perhaps, but she cannot truly understand it.
Why?
Because she has never stood in the valley.
Most won’t even bother looking down. Life has been too comfortable. Too kind.
How many people are willing to be like Siddhartha Gautama, who left the palace to experience suffering first hand before becoming the Buddha?
Very few.
This is why many truly exceptional Feng Shui masters were not born into luxury. They experienced hardship. They tasted failure. They walked through darkness and uncertainty.
Without seeing both sides of life, how can you understand the forces that shape human destiny?
Nature has a funny way of balancing things. If you’re walking east, you’re not walking west at the same time.
Then there are those who dismiss Feng Shui entirely.
They built successful businesses. They overcame obstacles. They listed companies on the stock exchange.
“No Feng Shui needed,” they say.
Fair enough.
When every decision you’ve made has worked, it’s easy to believe you’re the sole architect of your success.
Then there are others who place everything in the hands of God.
They visited a temple, prayed sincerely, and over time became incredibly successful. Naturally, they conclude that God gave them everything.
But here’s the question nobody wants to ask.
If that is true, why did God choose them?
Why not the hundreds of other devotees standing beside them every Friday night, offering the same prayers and burning the same incense?
Was God playing favourites?
Or is there something deeper at work?
This is where metaphysics begins.
BaZi and Feng Shui are not about replacing God, luck, effort, or intelligence. They are frameworks that help explain why different people experience different outcomes under seemingly similar circumstances.
The answers are there.
But you’ll never find them if you cling to your prejudices, defend your assumptions, and refuse to look deeper.
The problem isn’t that BaZi and Feng Shui are difficult.
The problem is that most people stop digging just when they reach the surface. When prejudice is set aside and observation takes its place, the door to deeper understanding begins to open.
Let Nature takes it course, those who is destined to know will know eventually….
