Born on 12 July 1926 in Klang to a civil servant, she attended medical school in Singapore where she met her future husband cum prime minister, Mahathir Mohamad. To study medicine for a lady, in those days were rare indeed and she made it.
She too made history apart of being the wife of Tun Mahathir Mohamad, In 1965, she became the first woman appointed as a medical officer in the Maternal and Child Health Department, and in 1974, she became the first woman appointed as a State Maternal and Child Health Officer.
Even she had a brief career, she did well on her own accord, In 1974, she was the first woman to be appointed State Maternal and Child Health Officer in Kedah. During her tenure, Siti Hasmah successfully reduced the infant mortality rate from 75 per 1,000 to only 6 per 1,000.
I wouldn’t dwell further into her career after marrying and becoming the wife of the longest serving prime minister of Malaysia not once but for 2 terms.
Coming to the days of 2nd term victory under the Pakatan Harapan in 2018, she campaigned together with her husband despite her age. Indeed a very supportive wife.
She too survived breast cancer.
Let’s look at her bazi, (hour is guessed), she had very good Useful God in her bazi that is Bing 丙 being the first and wood element too.
Strong Wood Element
You may see that her Bazi has very strong wood element and this is one reason that contributed to her good health and long life. Good strong wood people are very determined, benevolent, loyal people.
But you could say that is her Output 食伤 but I don’t see her as an athletic person. Yes this is because you only know 10 Gods 十神. This is where Nature’s Way Bazi is different. There are other layers of application that is not taught in the standard syllabus of BaZi.
The Proper Officer 正官
She is a Ren 壬 day master born in Wei 未 month, making Wei her Proper Officer thus some may think this is why she has high status in life. This is not true at all because there are other layers especially this Xin 辛 and Bing 丙 has a bigger role.
I remember I read a book written by a Bazi consultant who is also a Ren day master but born in Chou 丑 month. This too makes Chou his Proper Officer 正官. He proudly said he was CEO material, for more than 10 years, I think he has not been one, except his left his contractual employment and became a self employed. If you consider a self employed a CEO material, then many are CEOs too walking around too.
So where lies the difference when both were born in the month of the Proper Officer? This is why I have always reminded that knowing only 10 Gods, you are losing out a lot in BaZi. The key is to understand the nature of your bazi and you will understand your own destiny better. Armed with a clearer mind, then life is easier to circumvent.
