I would not discuss if King Charles will abdicate but rather I will predict if William will assend as King of England. King Charles III is already at an advance age or 75, certainly, it is just a matter of years on the throne.

His majesty was diagnosed with a rare kind of cancer this year but no words of how serious it is. With current medical advances, I am sure it will be some years before we hear of any announcement of a new King.

Who Is Nostradamus?

He did many predictions about the far future and is someone that people takes his words or rather predictions seriously.

Nostradamus was actually Michel de Nostredame (December 1503 – July 1566) was a French astrologer, apothecary, physician, and reputed seer, who is best known for his book Les Prophéties (published in 1555), a collection of 942 poetic quatrains allegedly predicting future events.

Adjusted Birth Hour

This lady was asking why some teacher says she (Jia 甲 Day Master) was born in the Yin 寅 hour when her actual birth time is actually 05:17 hour which is supposed to be Mao 卯.

On what basis did the teacher changed or re-adjusted her hour of birth ?

I know there are many theories of Hour adjustment.

  1. Solar Hour
  2. Beijing Hour
  3. Local Hour
  4. Goverment Adjusted Hour
  5. Lunar calendar adjustment
  6. Early Rat / Late Rat system

When you are learning Bazi, there are so many theories floating out there, which theory is correct ?

How do you verify which theory is correct?

  • Do you verify by the fame of the teacher ?
  • If he is famous, his theory must work correctly ?
  • If he is popular, his theory is sure to be correct ?
  • Have you seen the teacher in real life case reading (not pre-mediated type) ?
  • Have you seen his / here students performance ?
  • Have you seen a consistent trend in his reading accuracy ? Like say 8 out of 10 case accuracy ? (Anything below 6/10 is fluke shot and not real knowledge.)
  • Have you done more than 100 charts with above 60% accuracy using that method ?

Caesarean Child

I was visiting a fellow practitioner the other day and over a cup of coffee, suddenly he pulled out this bazi and asked me for some comments. I glanced and said this child’s parents will have a hard life then later he will have a womanizing life.

My friend then told me this is a Bazi that the date of birth was selected by a “Bazi Master” before he was born. I was rather appalled why did the master chosen this date?

Did he choose it because this Bazi would have all the 5 elements of Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth in the Bazi to be qualified as a good Bazi?

Perhaps he has choosen this date to have the child born in Wealth month so that the child will be rich?

Or perhaps as one BaZi school expounded the Officer Ding in the “Career Pillar”, that he would be a CEO material ?

BaZi And Period 9

Recently a fan asked me about the correlation between Bazi and Period 9 and why it is hotly promoted while I don’t seem to be talking about it.

Well, to begin with Bazi has nothing to do with Period 9. Period – is a concept from San Yuan system of Feng Shui and has nothing to do with Bazi because Bazi is an Astrology subject.

The only reason it is tied probably due to marketing reason to create some hype and later turned into seminars or courses for sale. I don’t do this because we believe this subject should be learned properly as a core subject starting from the basic theories right up to more advance theories. If you learn haphazardly, then your life will also be haphazard, which is probably by now is!

Bazi should not deviate from its origin purpose which is to guide and help us improve our lives. It is not for superstitious purposes.

As I was reviewing some old works of a friend, Mr. Au Yong Chee Tuck, it struck me on this person, Albert Camus. In his book, he has written a fair bit about Albert’s life history as well as his personal analysis of Albert’s Bazi. You may get his ebook online.

In his first book by Au Yong Chee Tuck.

In his book, AuYong did highlight an interesting thing about Albert’s Bazi and that is, there are not a single fire in his chart but yet his work has left a legacy. I will not elaborate on Albert’s Bazi again here except on highlight a point.

Received one request from a user asking about her marriage luck without giving much information. Is Bazi able to tell something about her life without asking her to reveal her life story. This is very common in astrology shows or Facebook live session, where one has to reveal everything first in order for the “master” to reveal the answers. This makes it no more a Bazi talk show but a motivational talk similar to this radio program on local radio 98.8, 大城心事, just talking about solutions after the damage has been done.

There are many Bazi theories out there but unfortunately, not everything is correct or works.

Here is a simple example how one person’s bazi can be read using the common theories available out there and why it does not tally with the person’s real life!

Imagine you go to a Bazi Consultant and he or she points you to a wrong direction in life because they have not acquired the correct knowledge, you will have a bad life or make a detour in life that caused you precious time. Frustrating?
