Got an SOS request but I think this post is worth sharing for public knowledge and furthermore it is the last post for 2023 and before I go on a long leave from February to April 2024.
I am a University student and after learning about my bazi, I am starting to worry about my future.
My main worry is whether I’ll be a useless person in society. One that is not able to contribute anything to society, my family, and loved ones.
My worry lies in the fact that I have 0 output and wealth elements. And with my limited knowledge of bazi, means that I may be destined for a poor and unproductive life.
Thus, I know this is a huge request to ask, but could you point me in the right direction in terms of what bazi books to read to make the best out of my bazi chart?
I am extremely sorry, but I don’t have the funds currently to pay for a bazi reading. But what I can do is work hard and learn. That’s why I want to learn as much as I can to rise above my bazi chart.
Sorry for asking so much without giving anything in return. But I would really appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.
PS, I’ve attached my bazi chart below for your perusal – Name undisclosed as the person is worry of his privacy so we call him Mr X.
Zero Output In A Chart = Useless ?
Output element is what the Day master produces. For this chart, it is the Metal element. If you examine the Bazi Chart above, yes this male, do not have any Output element.
It is a common myth why people get confused out there is usually due to a few reasons:
- They have learned the wrong concept of BaZi or
- confused because they have read for too many diverse sources. Since Bazi has many schools, thus each will advocate different theories. A mix of various leads to confusion and inconsistencies.

Ok so much for the advice, let me give a brief here to correct some common mistakes in Bazi reading.
There are many charts, I mean great charts, as in people who achieves success in life, that has zero OUTPUT element but yet they do very well in life. Just in this industry of BaZi, I know of one celebrity master of Water Day Master yet, his Bazi has only Water and Fire element.
For a Water day master, Output element is Wood yet his Bazi has ZERO wood element!
As you can see from the diagram beside, a Water Day Master’s Output element is Wood!
But why this person can be very famous and he has a gift of the gap, selling through talking non stop and has big audience when he was in good luck cycle? He commands thousands in a hall and drive many into hysteria during his hay days, digging deep into their pockets to enrich him so he can have a great lifestyle while the majority of his audiences were where they were before, if not poorer for many of them years after?
Wouldn’t the ability to speak well has been told you to belonging to Output? Is he being useless to himself and family ? Obviously not! He employs staffs and give people jobs. Is he not contributing to the economy ? He sells non stops through his own effort and his staffs… Is not the action of selling a kind of Output?
Output has two version, Eating God or Hurt Officer. This celebrity master loves the limelight, loves the stage and loves to share his high flying lifestyle over social media. This is a kind of Hurt Officer characteristics as he himself expound this theory. Yet, his BaZi has NO Output…How would you reconcile this or rather how he would reconcile it ?
Now that you have read this, is Bazi theory wrong or just simply that you have learned the wrong thing and drove yourself into paranoia?

Mr X is going through very strong fire luck starting from age 16, thus strong Fire makes this person worries unnecessarily. Fire is known as the Stamp element, Stamp brings negative thoughts, worries and a life with obstacles.
