Distorted Nature’s Way

Recently a student shared with me about some postings on forums and asked me if this is Nature’s Way of BaZi.

On a quick look, it seems so because it talks about how the Nature behaves but on closer examination, this is not consistent with our way of teaching.

History Of BaZi

Bazi has come a long way as early as 2003 when it was heavily promoted by a young chap. Back then it was the Strong Weak Day Master system. This system was very popular in Taiwan and Hong Kong back even before Bazi was popular here in Malaysia. It is also popularly known as Zi Ping system of Bazi.

Then some years passed by, this system seems to loss its favour among Bazi enthusiast and even some practitioners here. Along the same time, due to competition among Astrologers, the Blind-man sect came into the limelight here especially in Malaysia and Singapore. Blind-man was also very famous in Hong Kong back in the 70’s and 80’s.

I still remember they were heavily promoted in this famous forum called fivearts.net. If you know this place then you must followed the metaphysics world for quite a while. Then there were this Imperial Bazi school in Kuala Lumpur, it didn’t get famous but they claimed their knowledge came from the imperial astrologers. I still remember one of their clients came to see me when one of their key master “retired” out of the industry.

Of more recent years, some masters came out with this thing called Golden Verses. This is just a variation of the Blind-man school of Bazi. Those who have learned this later realized that these verses are not consistent. Sometimes it tells the picture of the person’s destiny, at times it doesn’t. One student who came from that school later found out why the inconsistency. It is because there is an important missing link that he found inside Nature’s Way of Bazi.

Nature’s Way is quite different from these system in terms of how we view and approach Bazi. Though we have students from other schools, some of them just could not follow or switch to Nature’s Way because they are too entrenched in the older method they acquired earlier. Those who are able will testify how happy they are to be able to read Bazi.

Of recent years, some masters too tried to venture into “Nature” way of interpreting BaZi.

So here are some of the points shared in the forum.

• Jia wood need soil because without it with only water it will float.
• Wu earth needs Jia so that it will not be stubborn
• Ji earth that has many water element needs Sun to reduce dampness
• Bing fire born in night will feel lack of recognition

I will not debate all the points listed here but just let me elaborate on the last verse.

Pamela Anderson was born on 1 July 1967 in the early hours of 4:08am. If we translated this in a BaZi formation, we shall yield this chart below.

Here are some points for you to ponder upon especially if you are a seasoned learner. As for newbies, you may consider learning Bazi first before trying to understand this chart.

1. Why she got famous in Baywatch TV series after she entered the Ji You 己酉 luck?
2. She is a Strong Day Master if you study the Strong-Weak Bazi system, yet she prospered with so many Rob Wealth and Friends stars, deemed as unfavorable for a Strong Day Master person?.
3. She has no Officer stars in her Bazi (water) yet why she had multiple marriages?
4. She only had one wealth element (庚), yet she can make more than most of us, why? Some more advance students, will noticed that her wealth element is not rooted, what basis her wealth size?
5. Why She, is Bing Day master born in the night, had so much recognition, as opposed to distorted “nature’s way” of reading? ha ha…head spinning ?

You Have No Answer?

Yes, you will find difficult to derive all the answers especially the 2,3,4 & 5 simply because most of you have not gotten the correct way/method/knowledge of reading BaZi. Question 1 maybe quite obvious to some but why is Ji You favorable to this Chart may not be an easy take away.

The Sad Truth

For more than 20 years, I have seen people chasing Bazi mastery hopping from schools to schools, yet not many have even reached a satisfactory level. In this quest for BaZi master, some of them have spend well over USD20,000.

Sometime, they would be able to get 1 or 2 charts fairly accurate but yet puzzled over the many others. The reason is because they all have committed the basic error of chasing celebrity masters but lost the essence of seeking true knowledge. Eventually, some will use Qimen or Yi Jing to supplement their Bazi. Some would explore Vedic, Western Astrology or ZiWei (Purple Star) to supplement their Bazi knowledge deficiency. It is never a satisfying journey compared to using a single system to derive the answers. The feeling is just so so satisfying.

Sadly, I have not seen, even long time practitioners and some of them consultants performed poorly in forums on many occasions, getting wrong answers. Few of my students too have witnessed this because they have gotten the answers correct against them. Celebrity masters are there due to good marketing efforts, not because of their skills in metaphysics.
