Shakira – Out Of Your League

Water Tiger is quite a year for the Diva from South America. She had a divorce from her long married husband (well over 10 years) since the husband was involved with another young women.

She then wrote a song to mock the adulterated couples when she sung the song Out Of Your League. It instantly gathered 63 million views in just span of 24 hours. Although it happened in January of 2023, in terms of Chinese Astrology system, the year is still Water Tiger Year.

As a teacher and practitioner in BaZi Astrology, I try to peep into her Bazi Chart and see what we can get out from her chart this event.

Shakira is Geng 庚 person and had Ding 丁 in the luck, 2022 the Ren 壬 came. This Ren can bring in a lot of money luck. Thus why she can expect Youtube will pay her for such high viewing rate.

Furthermore, Yin 寅 the Tiger is of wood element, this is another indicator of good money / career luck.

What about her divorce, well the Ding fire is a representation of the husband Gerard Pique, Water puts out the Fire making the fire energy to douse out. when the flame dies, smoke comes and smoke gets into her eyes. Remember The Platters?

Here is her Bazi:

Uncivilized Punishment

Punishment is one of the core of many Bazi school. It is supposed to bring negative events to the chart. There are many types of punishments ranging from Self Punish, Ungrateful Punish, Bully Punish and Uncivilized Punish.

Today I will choose to discuss about Uncivilized Punish. The chinese character is 无礼之刑. Uncivilized Punishment is touted as the holy grail of all Punishments. It is defined as when a Mao 卯 (Rabbit) sees a Zi 子 (Rat) or vice versa any where in the Bazi chart. Here is an example.

Harms – A BaZi Antithesis

In BaZi study you probably hear of Clash 冲, Combinations 合, Punishment 刑 , Destruction 破 and Harms 害.

Harm is thought to bring about betrayal in our Destiny or meeting some kind of difficult situation or some kind events that can break you down mentally or physically. Some other teachers says Harm means many unfavorable things that can happen. Another says it brings about fear, doubts, worries or distrust. In short it is a BAD thing to have.

So in Bazi which pairing is considered a Harm relation?

  1. 寅 – 巳 Tiger – Snake
  2. 卯 – 辰 Rabbit – Dragon
  3. 子 – 未 Rat – Goat
  4. 丑 – 午 Ox – Horse
  5. 酉 – 戌 Rooster – Dog
  6. 申 – 亥 Monkey – Pig

This theory further cloud the art of BaZi reading because it has 2 opposite effect to the Bazi.

  • Lionel Messi has a Harm combo
  • Jack ma too has a Harm in his bazi
  • Muammar Gaddafi has a Harm in his Bazi.

Traditional and Contemporary BaZi Schools of Thoughts

GuiguziBazi is a Chinese form of Astrology that probably has it’s roots way from the days of the Ghost Valley Master or 鬼谷子 (GuiGuZi).

After Xu Zi Ping created the 8 Characters system or commonly known as BaZi, many years down the road there are many fractions to his system emerged. The more famous BaZi system known today are the Blindman sect, the ZiPing system and also the Nature system which is the system that is gaining the popularity. This nature system is primarily coming from the old classics of Qiong Tong Bao Jian 穷通宝鉴.

These system has few hundred to few thousand of years history.

However fast forward to the new millennium, there is new BaZi theory promoted by contemporary practitioners. The system is rather simple but what worries me is that this system is less than 20 years. How fool proof is this system? How many Bazi cases has been proven in this decade of commercialization of Chinese Metaphysics ? On the hind sight, it relies on motivation method to boost the positive psychology in the client, which is a good thing after all. However this is off the subject on Destiny analysis.

Perhaps I dwell a little on the system that I know better and proven for centuries and show case how it has helped a client of mine.
