In the wake of the suicide case of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain just last 2 weeks, it makes me think, why do people choose to go this path of taking one’s own life. They have fame, success, money and fans, yet they are not happy. It was then I remembered this song 浪子心聲 (Heart of a Loafer) by the evergreen Cantopop singer, composer, musician and also actor, Sam Hui.

Undeniably I grew up with his songs and I have to admit I am one of his fans. Now that I have gained good knowledge in the art of Bazi, I am very much interested to see if its true to what I believed and what he has sung in one of this best hit song, 浪子心聲 released in 1976. In this song there is chorus 命裡有時終須有　命裡無時莫強求.

He was born in Canton, China and he started his career at the age of 20 and his popularity grew in the peak around the 70’s and early 80’s. Till today his song is still very popular among many Cantonese speaking people. He writes his own song, lyrics it and even sang them. Not many have this type of talent. After getting popular, he ventured and into films and made a few movies together with his brother Micheal and Ricky Hui. Unfortunately, Ricky the younger brother left couple of years ago.

Till today he is still singing and occasionally puts up a concert around the world.

Why do ancient Chinese parents wants to read the Bazi of their future son or daughter in law and match it to their children? This is because they believe that being foretold is to prevent simply because human is actionable being and not a tree. While we may not able about everything, we can certainly minimize the impact of the problems.

Marriage is a very important decision in one’s life. In Chinese philosophy, there is a saying:

Meeting the Wrong Person at the Wrong time brings Disaster.
Meeting the Right Person at the Wrong time brings Regret.
Meeting the Wrong Person at the Right time brings Pain and Sadness.
Meeting the Right Person at the Right time is called Happy & Fulfilling Life.

Many people are suffering in silence after years in marriage and seeking family counseling, some go for religious counseling, some turn to radio programs to vent their frustrations and of course friends and Bazi Consultant too are not spared.

Thus you can imagine the impact of that decision. In the spur of the moment one proposes a marriage or to say “Yes!” changes the course of one’s life. This is precisely in the ideology of Bazi can never be 100% accurate especially when reading on the subject of marriage. The other part of the answer actually lies in your future partner’s Bazi.

One may marry a rich husband but he is a bully! While you may read from your Bazi that you will have a rich husband, what’s the point since you have not known that he is actually a bully!

One also may wonder, before marriage he was a nicest man on earth but now he is a different person. That is because in Bazi there are 3 ways to tell the quality of the spouse. The 2 most commonly known method are the Spouse Palace and the Direct Officer.

This is a Chart of women who married a husband and found out later that he was only after her money. In BaZi Astrology this can be seen from her chart. If she has already known about it way before marriage, perhaps it would be other options that she could have chosen.

The Battle of Two Yi 乙

Malaysia is going to the polls this May 9 for their 14th General Elections. This time it will be a fight primarily between two major coalitions. Barisan Nasional (BN), the National Front which is the current ruling government which has govern Malaysia since independence from the British in 1957. Prime Minister DS Najib will be leading the national front to face this coming general elections.

On the opposing force is the Pakatan Harapan (PH) or Alliance of Hope is made up as a loose coalition of parties such as PPBM lead by former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir, Parti Keadilan lead by DS Anwar Ibrahim currently serving his prison term, the DAP lead by its secretary general, Lim Guan Eng who is also the Chief Minister of Penang state and Parti Amanah lead by Mat Sabu. The current de-facto leader of PH is Tun Dr Mahathir.

Just before the announcement of the dissolution of the parliment, Tun Dr M party, PPBM has been de-registered by the Registrar of Society. Thus now they will stand as independent candidates.

PM Najib Razak is riddled with his famous 1MDB scandal something his former boss, Tun Dr Mahathir is accusing him of wrong doing and bringing shame to Malaysia since this case is mentioned by many countries including the USA, Switzerland, Singapore and few others.

This general election is seen as the mother of all elections because of a few reasons. First many Malaysian are seeing PM Najib Razak tightening the laws to keep him in power, failure to oust the BN will, in their fear, bring the end of democracy to Malaysia. Tun Dr M is already 92 and he is seen as the only person able to bring about the rural Malays support. Malay race are the major race in Malaysia and due to delineation of election boundaries, also known as gerrymandering, will be of huge advantage to BN to win the elections and govern Malaysia for 60 years. Opposition MP, Rafizi has shown how gerrymandering is working towards BN unfair advantage.

Why Malays are the deciding race in the elections? It is because Malaysia although is a multi racial country but its policy are largely seen as divided according to race and religion. Race and religion is the key agenda in Malaysian politics, thus Dr M is thought as the man of caliber and stature to bring about the change in their mindset and perhaps in the near future new reforms.

Major Luck Cycle

Chinese say that Destiny is first while Luck comes second whilst Feng shui comes in only third. 一命二运三风水

Destiny can be read from our Natal Chart 命盘 while Luck cycle changes every 10 years. Thus the role of Major Luck 大运 is second to Destiny indicates it’s importance and significance in our lives. Sometimes we may be born with an average destiny but with a favourable luck cycle, life can be as fulfilling as well.

Of course this comes with a time limit since each luck cycle only last 10 years. Some people have major luck that last 20 years and I have seen some with as long as 40 years or 4 cycles. Most people takes about 3 years to earn their first million so a good luck cycle is enough to make your first bucket of gold. The rest is up to how you want make good use of the wealth.

So how significant is the effect of a Major Luck Cycle can have on us?

It is a controversy always when people ask about Twins especially when they try to reconcile their Bazi to reality.

I mean its normal that twins does have slightly different characters and outcome in life. Thus modern practitioners tries hard to find an answer to accommodate the difference in the outcome. One of the popular theory that took wave is the notion that the younger twins should be given an earlier Chinese hour.

For example, if the twin was born at 10am while the second twin was born say some minutes later (assuming natural birth), then the first twin will have born in the hour of Si 巳 while the younger twin will be assigned the earlier hour of Chen 辰.

For those not familiar with Chinese hour system, Si or Snake hour is between 9am to 10:59am. Before Si hour is the Chen hour or Dragon hour which is between 7am to 8:59am.

But Why?

However, this new theory contradicts traditional rules of Bazi which says your birth hour is the hour of birth. Thus if you are born in the Si hour, thus you will be having a Si in your hour pillar. What is the rational then of pushing the younger twin one Chinese hour earlier.?

If the case were to be like this, http://ktla.com/2016/11/11/twins-born-as-daylight-saving-time-ends-cause-rare-age-twist/, I can rational the difference in Chinese hour of birth but to force the second child to have a different hour is perhaps something that needs to be reviewed.

Ahok Major Luck BaZi Chart Analysis

Ahok or his real name Basuki Tjahaja Purnama was born on 29 June 1966. However the hour of birth is unknown.

He is a politician and was promoted to Gabenor of Jakarta under President Joko Widodo or better known as Jokowi.

Since 2009 he entered the luck of Ji Hai 己亥. thus far 3 major things happened, become Gobenor of Jakarta, jailed of alleged blasphemy and wife had affair since 7 years ago (circa 2010). This year he filed for divorce.

Fu Yin

He became Gabenor of Jakarta in 2014, the year of Jia Wu 甲午. Jia Wu was a repeat of his month pillar. In Bazi school it is called Fu Yin. Fu Yin is said to be bad in any Bazi but who knows, things may change in the future after some masters read this case.

Then he was involved in a blasphemy case where he was addressing a crowd back in Nov 2016 (Bing Shen 丙申) and in 2017 (Ding You 丁酉）he was trialed and found guilty and sentenced to 2 years in prison in the month of May 2017.

I received an Bazi Course promotion sometime back and in that article, it tells about how to find out if the spouse has potential of playing infidelity. It says…

  1. Lots of Indirect Wealth (for men) / 7 Killings (for ladies)elements in the chart.

Jack Ma Bazi Chart Analysis

Bazi Astrology tells us our capacity in life and that is, how far we are able to achieve in life. At least this is the Chinese Metaphysics point of view. There maybe other views such as God who decides everything we do.

Jack Ma has been one of the fastest uprising Chinese who has made his fame and fortune just within a span of 10 years or so. Just this year’s 11.11 sales, Alibaba made 25 billion dollar sale in a single day!. Was he fated or destined to reach what he is today or purely hard word, positive thoughts and foresight?

I found his time of birth in the internet and so let’s see from the Bazi point of view what his natal chart can tell us.

What is so special about his chart?

Since we are on the subject wealth, let’s focus on it. Since Jack Ma is a Ren 壬 Day master thus his wealth element is the Fire. Thus Bing 丙 and Ding 丁 represents his wealth in his Bazi Chart.

If we inspect his chart, there are only 2 little fire hidden in the Hidden Heavenly Stem inside the Yin 寅 and Xu 戌. With very little fire in his chart why is he able to amass so much wealth and fame?

That’s quantity counting of wealth element which is not always true.

Then he was born in Autumn 🍂 and during Autumn, the fire 🔥 Qi which is also his wealth is also weak. Thus if we were to look from the Quality point of view, it too does not explain why his Bazi brings him so such fame and wealth.

Both Quantitative and Qualitative wise, the fire is not strong in his chart, so where did the money coming from?

If you are a student from the Strong and Weak school, then a Ren 壬 Day master born in Autumn should be a strong Day Master. If he is strong thus Output and Wealth is favourable while Friends and Rob Wealth is unfavourable for him and he has both of them.

Little Wealth Element In His Bazi Chart

However we know his wealth (fire) is very “weak” in his chart. His output which is represented by Wood element which he has it in the Yin 寅 & Jia 甲. Quality wise, Wood is also considered weak and a dead Qi (in Autumn) in his chart. Can this wither tree generate good wealth？

Often I get the question “How To Read Bazi Chart?” or “Bazi reading is very difficult” and so on. I can understand the frustration and disappointment. Since my students have strong encourage me to produce a short video on how to read a Bazi Chart, here you go.
