Bazi Class Dec 14-15
Important Announcement!
-+ Post Class Testimonials from senior practitioners themselves +-
This one class is an Important and Correct Way to read Bazi. We know that many students have difficulty to read Bazi even after advance classes from several schools.
The only reason is not because the student is less intelligent but rather they have not been exposed to the right way of Bazi.
E.g. which palace represents your mother? So while you do not see mother in your chart 10 Gods, why something happens to your mum for example. Then again, is each palaces carries the same meaning for men and women?
Again many confuses what is being termed as Strong and Weak Day Master. Strong needs to be weaken while Weak needs to be Strengthen. Both are not really correct. It is all about the nature of the Chart.
So don’t miss this great opportunity to meet Master Benson Yeo in KL this Dec and get your perspective in Bazi Correct!

10 Gods, Who’s Who In Your Life ?
In the last article we talked about how the 10 Gods (十神) was derived but what is the significance of knowing the 10 gods? Chinese classics has lots of information written on the subject of 10 Gods in Bazi.
Technically speaking, the 10 gods represents many things or relationships in Bazi or Destiny Analysis but today we are going to talk about Family Relationships. This is easier to illustrate.
Just to caution readers that 10 Gods is only 1 method to tell relationship. There are other methods to further tell relationship in Bazi too.
There is a difference in representation for Male and Female when it comes to relationship and the way it is structured is very much based on ancient Chinese culture.
Here is how it goes:-
Studying The Classics – Strong and Weak
I read with amazement that many masters and advance practitioners trying to study the classics but yet has not been able to understand it. Indeed it is not easy but some are just basic information and yet the confusion.
I think in part many schools offering Bazi courses has themselves not been able to fully comprehend the basics well. As long you are a celeb, students will flock in…
Let’s see some interesting chart and why the classics say they are Weak or Strong.

It’s In Your Hands
A sage once met a cynical young man who wanted to outwit him in front of the villagers….
He thought to himself, “Here’s a trick to prove the old man wrong! I will ask him to predict if this little bird in my hand is dead or alive…If he says it’s alive, I will crush it to death but if he says it’s dead, I will set it free.”
So he approached the sage and asked “Oh learned one! Can you tell me if the little bird in my hand is alive or dead?”

The Stems, The Branches and The Hidden Stems
As we all know a Bazi chart comprises of 4 pillars. Each pillar is derived from the Year, Month, Day and Hour of birth respectively. And each pillar consists of Heavenly Stem, Earthly Branch and Hidden Stem as follows:-
![]()
So what are these Heavenly Stem, Earthly Branch and Hidden Stem represent?
The 10 Heavenly Stems (The Stems)
Based on the five elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water; and their Yin Yang factor comes the 10 Heavenly Stems of:-
Jia (Yang Wood-Tree) and Yi (Yin Wood-Flower)
Bing (Yang Fire-Sun) and Ding (Yin Fire-Candle Flame)
Wu (Yang Earth-Mountain) and Ji (Yin Earth-Soil)
Geng (Yang Metal-Iron) and Xin (Yin Metal-Gold)
Ren (Yang Water-Sea) and Gui (Yin Water-Rain)
The Stems represent the external perceptions of a person in life. They are what the person project for people to see – his character, outlook, matters, events and relationships that are obvious. Or you may call what “Heaven” gives to a person. And it looks real to the outside world. It is like a packaging, what people see on the outside and provides us a glimpse of what’s inside too. The reality is, what’s outside (appearance) may not be exactly what’s inside (the real you). Stems represent appearances and surface outlook. It can also represent opportunities available. A person may look, say, wealthy or hardworking, but is he really? For example, there is a wealth element on the Stem but if that element is not rooted (meaning there is no wealth element in the Branches) or it is not supported by output element, he may look rich but in reality he is not. At the best scenario, there is wealth opportunities for him but whether he makes it, is another story.
