Elvis Presley came from very humble beginnings and grew up to become one of the biggest names in rock ‘n’ roll. By the mid-1950s, he appeared on the radio, television and the silver screen. On August 16, 1977, at age 42, he died of heart failure, which was related to his drug addiction. Since his death, Presley has remained one of the world’s most popular music icons till today.

Elvis Aron Presley was born on January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi. Raised by loving, working-class parents, Presley’s family had little money, and they moved from place to place frequently. He was deeply devoted to his parents, especially his mother, Gladys, and was raised to have a strong faith in God.

FRUSTRATION AND SALVATION IN BAZI READING

Since the introduction of the internet, people are now more connected than ever before. In the past, a letter may take weeks or months to reach another person in another country. Today, it only require mere seconds. In the past, Chinese Metaphysics is a “recluse” learning subject but with advancement of internet and technology, it is now becoming more accessible to the public. People are able to converse, discuss and “spar” online on any subject and in this particular instance destiny reading / Bazi subject.

Of interest of today’s article is a Bazi chart below that has appeared under different pseudo names in different forums for at least the last 18 months.

From what can be gathered through the communications on the forums, the owner of this chart is a student of a World renown Chinese Metaphysics teacher / grand master. Since completing the course, it appears to me he is still attempting to seek guidance to determine if his chart is a special chart. In addition to that, historical forum threads indicated he has been attempting to understand why his career, marriage and wealth prospects are average. Despite various analysis by forum experts, I don’t believe to date that anyone have answered the owner’s questions to his satisfaction and his quest continues. I can relate to his frustration as Bazi study can be a frustrating exercise but yet satisfying when you able to get it right.

Uncivilized Punishment

Punishment is one of the core of many Bazi school. It is supposed to bring negative events to the chart. There are many types of punishments ranging from Self Punish, Ungrateful Punish, Bully Punish and Uncivilized Punish.

Today I will choose to discuss about Uncivilized Punish. The chinese character is 无礼之刑. Uncivilized Punishment is touted as the holy grail of all Punishments. It is defined as when a Mao 卯 (Rabbit) sees a Zi 子 (Rat) or vice versa any where in the Bazi chart. Here is an example.

He was a singer in Hong Kong in the early 80’s right till about for a decade before he decided to call it quits.

Perhaps you call it Timing, 80’s was the time of mega stars of Alan Tam, Leslie Cheung and Sam Hui, Anita Mui etc. It was the peak time of Hong Kong entertainment industry and when Terence got into it. I have blogged about Leslie and Sam Hui Bazi but Terence life story was interesting and worth looking at his Bazi to understand life and destiny better.

Being at the Wrong Era….

The new age thought is that man has FULL control of his life or destiny. Is it true? or to some religious centrist, life is in the hands of their Gods. Perhaps Chinese astrology tool of BaZi may give us some clue of our future and destiny. Let’s see how it has shaped Terence life.

Towards the 90’s he reclused himself to a song writer and have written a few songs for Alan Tam, Paula Tsui, Jacky Cheung, Kenny Bee to mention a few. Then after leaving Hong Kong for some years, he decided to make a come back to the music industry in around 2002 and had planned a solo concert in 2003.

Never thought that in 2002, he met with a serious accident in Dongguan China which left him paralyzed and suffer from brain damaged. Even his wife left him after that fatal accident on 13 November 16:30. Life had not been easy for him ever since then.

Leonardo Di Caprio

You probably know him from the movie Titanic (1997) or perhaps The Aviator or Blood Diamond. In Malaysia, he is famous for the The Wolf of Wall Street as it is linked to the infamous 1MDB case here.  Today I want to talk a little about him and how his success was imprinted in his BaZi since the time he was born. I think it is now timely to publish this blog post after sitting in the draft cabinet for so long.

After 6 nominations since 2003 only in 2016 he finally gets the Best Actor Oscar for the movie The Revenant …Why? The answer is in the timing from the luck cycle and year.

From the Bazi perspective why is going to be this Luck and This Year? If you look at Leo’s Bazi, he has a very strong Useful God 用神 but unfortunately this Useful God is somewhat being weakened in his natal chart.

Harms – A BaZi Antithesis

In BaZi study you probably hear of Clash 冲, Combinations 合, Punishment 刑 , Destruction 破 and Harms 害.

Harm is thought to bring about betrayal in our Destiny or meeting some kind of difficult situation or some kind events that can break you down mentally or physically. Some other teachers says Harm means many unfavorable things that can happen. Another says it brings about fear, doubts, worries or distrust. In short it is a BAD thing to have.

So in Bazi which pairing is considered a Harm relation?

  1. 寅 – 巳 Tiger – Snake
  2. 卯 – 辰 Rabbit – Dragon
  3. 子 – 未 Rat – Goat
  4. 丑 – 午 Ox – Horse
  5. 酉 – 戌 Rooster – Dog
  6. 申 – 亥 Monkey – Pig

This theory further cloud the art of BaZi reading because it has 2 opposite effect to the Bazi.

  • Lionel Messi has a Harm combo
  • Jack ma too has a Harm in his bazi
  • Muammar Gaddafi has a Harm in his Bazi.

On the second day of Chinese New Year, I have some time to write a few lines on my thoughts on this subject. Every year masters around the world start to predict the future of the world or country using various Bazi as reference but the most common ones here is using the Li Chun 立春 as Reference Chart.

For example, for this year the Metal Rat 庚子 year begins on Li Chun 立春 which falls on 4th February 2020, 17:03 hour which will give you this BaZi.

Strong And Weak Day Master

Think of Roxette, I think of Marie Fredirksson and Per Gessle. It brings back fond memories since I grew up listening to their song. I still remember the old cassette tape playing “Listen to your Heart” , “Dangerous” etc. Unfortunately Marie, just passed away from her long battle with cancer of the brain she suffered back in 2002. I will be missing her voice.

In the system of Strong – Weak Day Master , the first task is to determined the Strength of Day Master. The outcome could be a Strong Day Master or Weak Day Master. If you make a mistake at this stage, then you will have problem with the diagnosis and prescription. Most student gets stuck here.

Below is her BaZi chart. She is Ding 丁 fire person born in the season of Snake 巳. Fire person born in Summer is said to be born In-Season. Being born In-Season is one of the main criteria to decide this person is a Strong Day Master.

According to this theory, a Strong Day Master will have the Output and Wealth as Favourable elements while Resource or Parallel to be Unfavourable. Thus, following this logic for a Ding Day Master, Wood and Fire element is considered as Unfavourable.

The Different Characters of Direct Officer

The classic says, “If Officer supports Resource, will have achievement in society. Childhood times are very discipline, likes to read, does not let parents worry and concern.”

The classic also says, “If Wealth supports Officer appears, will have gains and great reputations.”

This is the chart of a Gui 癸 Male Day Master.  This chart looks like it qualifies what the classic says.  In his chart, there is Officer supports Resource in the Year Pillar.  He also has Wealth support Officer in the Hour Pillar.
